Leveraging PIIM’s usability and information fusion capabilities, Raytheon Corporation contracted PIIM to evaluate, test, and design radically new interfaces for several of its web-enabled, analytic software packages.

PIIM undertook this work over several months and through comprehensive reviews and redesigns based on user studies, rapidly-prototyped visual models, and refined workflows based on assessments of each tool’s underlying technology solutions.

PIIM delivered several concepts for each of the tools it evaluated. These redesigns integrated PIIM’s expertise in Knowledge Visualization and information fusion to develop seamlessly integrated user interfaces that meshed the diverse, complex, federated information sources into a single user experience.

Each endeavor enlisted PIIM’s visualization/design and engineering capabilities in a close partnership with Raytheon Corporation engineers to ensure the workflow and visualization modules were properly designed to technical requirements and specifications.
