Access to The New School
As an institute within The New School , PIIM receives support from all of The New School offices and services, including: General Counsel, Human Resources, Development, Public and Government Relations, and Library Services. The ability to leverage these systems, administrative staff and faculty enables PIIM employees, students, and consultants to access the expertise of hundreds of individuals within The New School community.

Post-graduation Employment
Many full- and part-time PIIM employees are graduates from the University's programs — specifically the world renowned Parsons The New School for Design . This tight connection between the academic departments and PIIM's staff creates a very strong relationship among the many university departments. Additionally, as graduates from The New School , PIIM employees are adept at leveraging the university's Library and research services to support all R&D and client-driven work.

We also employ student researchers and interns, and utilize industry-leading consultants to assist us with all facets of our R&D and client-driven work.

Internship Opportunities
PIIM offers internship and fellowship opportunities for individuals currently enrolled at The New School , from other academic institutions, and those looking to gain valuable experience working with our talented internal team, clients and partners. Our program provides an opportunity to engage with PIIM in its ongoing research initiatives, contribute to currently funded projects, and support all day-to-day activities in a variety of ways.
