As a research facility within The New School , PIIM supports all of its endeavors with a long history of academic and forward thinking into the world of visualization. With a solid relationship with numerous divisions of the university — including Parsons The New School for Design — PIIM brings not just its expert teams to its research and programs, it brings an entire educational community.

While PIIM is adept at managing and delivering complex visualization and engineering solutions to meet its clients' needs, PIIM is fully committed to thought leadership and advancing the discussion of complex issues inside and outside of the university community. Education and our outreach to the public are of the utmost importance to PIIM and enable us to support all of our research and development work.

Within The New School , the PIIM staff support various academic programs and provide consultation for university initiatives that involve visualization, knowledge discovery, and systems engineering. Our outreach into the greater community allows us to expand the public's understanding of the amazing benefits to integrating visualization techniques and technologies into their day-to-day activities.
